Yes I am still alive, but gosh work, church and school seem to be kicking my butt.... Since the summer I have started another semester (taking 13 credits) while working full time and trying to have somewhat of a personal life.... So needless to say things are a little bit crazy in my neck of the woods...

Anyways some happenings as of late have been-- FOOTBALL... I can't get enough of this season and find myself at games every weekend to cheer on the local talent!! Haha, mostly I go with my good buddy Karena to cheer on her hubby and his team GO MATADORS!!!

Next is Church-- I am the Family Home Evening Coordinator and Relief Society teacher in the singles ward and boy let me tell you, it keeps me so busy... Like for example my Tuesdays... I leave the house at 8am go to work, then straight to school at 5:30 then straight to FHE and usually don't end up getting home until well after 10 or so... it seems to make for a LOOOOONG day!!!

School--- it always busy and since I am working so much the only time for me to go is at night-- my classes start at 5:30 every night and can go well into the evening!! Its exhausting!!

On Friday we are going on our annual family vacation to Durango and I couldn't be more excited about it... Maybe we might even become famous again and be put in their pamphlet just like a couple of years ago... and here is the proof.... :)

Since then I have just been busy working and do whatever else I want to do... At night I moved in with my grandma since she had surgery.... We have gone swimming and watched a lot of movies and every Sunday we have a party the house to watch the last season of Friday Night Lights... (my FAVORITE show!!!)

We went to Utah for Memorial Day weekend to suprise my sisters... It was a perfect suprise at 1:00am in the morning when we knocked on my sisters door.... Anyways I did lots of watching kids and driving too and from Tooele to Salt Lake-- Kimber and Tyler were moving so I took the kids while everyone else helped them pack... As always the trip was way too short!!!

I can't believe its been almost 4 months since I updated last.... So lets start off with my birthday, I guess I didn't do much in April worth taking pictures of!!! Anyways, for my birthday this year my sisters came into town at different times so it was more like I had an extended celebration...

A couple days after that with some of my sisters still here we celebrated my Moms birthday and shockingly the only picture I have is of her new front door painted red....

Arizona, Utah and a Basketball game...

A couple of weeks ago my brother and I went to Arizona to visit some family, we had a great time, but like every other thing I didn't get to many pictures.... So enjoy the ones that I did get... we had a great time-- we had a lot of relaxing time, didn't get to go swimming because some of the pool equipment broke and drained the pool but flooded the yard, went to a Lacrosse game and saw Rango at the Drive Inn... Over all great trip!!!

I can't really remember but we also went to the Conference USA championship basketball game between UTEP and I think Tulsa.... It was a great game but sadly UTEP lost by 1 point... BOOO....

After all of that excitement I went to Utah to visit my friend and my sisters (for a very short time) for Spring Break... Delaney is just like my sister and its so fun that no matter how long its been since we have seen each other its just like old times when we get together... I had a great time being at her house with her darling baby girl and her husband Rod.... Also, before I went to her house I had the chance to see my sisters and have lunch with them... While I was there I also colored my hair... The dark was just getting ugly so I HAD to change it!!!

Oh The Bachelor........

So I am sure many of you know how much I love to watch the Bachelor..... This season I was a little skeptical as to how Brad Womack would be, but as the season went on I found that I actually like the guy and he was there for all the right reason.... Emily was always one of my favorites and I always hoped that he would choose her at the end.. and then HE DID, and i was so excited for them, I thought oh they look so cute and in love THIS one is going to last....

And then came the AFTER THE FINAL ROSE, and here is what I think........ What they have is REAL, and I think that reality has hit them both square in the face with some major issues, I can see his temper def. be a problem, but I can also see her being very stubborn and a "My way or the highway" type of gal.... BUT I can also see that if they think its worth it to work at their love and realtionship it would work... I mean I know its always easier to walk away and say that they gave it their best, BUT for their sake, and lets be honest my need for "Happy Endings" I hope they work it out... COME ON GUYS-- its not always going to be the 6 week fairy-tale you have become used too... WELCOME TO REAL LIFE SUCKERS! :)

So I am not Catholic but I have decided to practice Lent this year and give up something for 40 days or until Easter...... and much to the suprise of EVERYONE I know I am giving up FACEBOOK until Easter.... Is it something that I have to do-- NO, but I want to try to see if I can do it on my own... So here is to Day 1..... No Facebook.....
So far--- Mary, Gloria, Matt, and Mindi don't think I can do it....
and I have bets with a couple of them.... Thank you!

Its seems that my blog has fallen victim to recent neglect in my life... I used to be so good and now it all seems to be catching up with me... But I need your opinion....

DO I #1 take a full load this summer so I can get done with school that much faster, OR #2 remember that Summer is a time to have fun and only take a few classes so I can go on not so lavish vacations!!! All opinions are and will be appreciated!!!

Lets see in other news--- Last night Donald and I went to the UTEP basketball game (GO MINERS!!!) and I got a flat tire, and I learned a couple of things.... #1 if I really REALLY had to change a tire by myself I know I could do it, I was suprised that I knew where all the equipment was in my car and what to do with it all... #2-- Thank heavens for my brother because he did most of the work.... #3 I hope I don't have to buy a new tire... the verdict is still out on that one....

Also, I am excited to go to Utah for Spring Break in a couple of weeks to see my bestest friend Delaney and her family.... I am so very excited to have a shopping day and just to hang out and do whatever we want, especially because I won't be in El Paso at school OR at work!!!

And last-- as part of my New Years Resolution I have tried to make it a point to attend ALL the activities and FHE in my singles ward... And I am the first to say that I drag my feet to a majority of them, but I must say to my suprise-- we have done some really fun things!!! We have made it to Carlsbad Caverns and gone 4-wheeling... So enjoy the pictures!

I recently went to Dallas for my cousin Chris' wedding. Hannah and Chris look so IN LOVE and happy, and it only makes me what to have that even more. On Sunday my parents, brother and I went back to the town that I was born and where my siblings remember growing up. I how ever do not remember anything about Aledo but am convinced that I would move there in a heart beat or anywhere else in Texas for that matter. So a couple days ago I read a friends blog about how she finds herself looking at other peoples blogs reading about their own weddings and having kids- dreaming of her own wedding day.... and she wanted to know if she was crazy for doing that.... I promptly wrote her letting her know that it was COMPLETELY normal because I myself find me doing that ALL the time as well......
Today as I got home from church and tried to grasp this whole world of he likes me/he doesn't like me game- I found myself thinking maybe I shouldn't have given my friend such a comment... Because maybe (at least for me) I AM CRAZY for wishing and hoping for that... And I know that all of you have been down that road, but DATING SUCKS... sure going on a date is fun but that's not dating or getting to know each other or whatever the heck you call it, but it SUCKS.... Yes and I know guys don't think that and they are clueless to things, I get that but it certainly doesn't make it any easier... It seems to be the same thing over and over again, people around me giving me the ole "it will happen when its supposed too" speech, and the "its not you its him, he is just a guy"... Well then somebody go slap him till he does realize so we can get this show on the road!!! Maybe they are taught this game in elementary school, who knows!
I am a good catch gosh dang it!!! Anyways- I am just venting because dating is overrated and that's all I have to say about that... So for my blogging friends viewing pleasures... The new ME-- dark hair and all!!!

I feel like I am on this road and don't know where the exit ramp is..
Has it really been 2 months since I updated?? Alot has happened since then and I feel like I would need about 10 posts to give you full details of everything.... but in intrest of time here is a shortened version for you.....

1. I got a new job-- I no longer work at Western Tech., and its the best decision that I could have done. I now work at El Paso Hearing Aid and Audiology Center doing their billing, and I love it. It gives me more flexibility especially with......

2. School--- I started school 2 weeks ago and its great, even though my classes are boring but hey you have to do what you have to do right.... EPCC is nice because the classes are small and for me I do better in that setting. I am taking 14 credit hours right now and its alot but with my new job it works out perfectly.....

3. There is this boy, but I don't know what to do.... I met him at FHE and we talk everytime we are there and such, a couple weeks ago he got my number but nothing.... We have texted back and forth a couple of times and I keep hinting at going out but no bite.. his famous last words are "if you go and do something, let me know" and I have invited him places and he always says no..... so all of your imput would be great... do I just drop it or continue to invite him places.... let me know what you all think.... i hate dating...

4. I am loving this new water called "AquaMantra". Here is what you do... You can buy either the I am Lucky, I am loved, or I am healthy-- and on the bottle it talks about how when you surround yourself with positive thinking it will come true but you have to tell yourself positive things.. So every time you take a sip of this water you tell your self I am..... which ever bottle you bought... It seems to be pretty good, and for a cheesey as it sounds the I am lucky is pretty good.... I have noticed a difference-- EVEN IF IT IS JUST IN MY HEAD.. which I know it is, cause lets be honest-- water doesn't do that to you!!! Anyways-- head to your local Albertsons and try it!!!

5. Football season started and I am loving it....

Since I turned 25 I thought I would start this post with 25 things I have learned in the last year.

1. Somehow life always turns out the way you plan.. Maybe in a little bit of a different way, but the same none the less.
2. Go with your first instinct.. It usually is always the correct choice.
3. Saving money for a rainy day is a GOOD thing.
4. Going to school online SUCKS.. :)
5. I still don't know what I want to do with my life... (interior design/ or teaching)
6. Redecorating my room is fun.. (pictures coming soon)
7. I miss my neices and nephews ALOT!!!
8. Singles dances are just as weird when I was in YW...
9. Having 2 callings isn't that fun.
10. You can't always please people, so you just have to make yourself happy..
11. Lookin for love in all the wrong places.
12. Movies can be the best Friday night date.
13. McDonald's Icecream Cones are the best $1 item EVER!
14. Everyone needs a vacations.
15. Thank Heavens for days off.
16. Passing a certification exam is alot of hard work, but worth it.
17. I make homeade treats too much!
18. People always seem to make a big deal out of EVERYTHING!
19. Sometimes I fill like I work in a High School.
20. Drama is so OVER-RATED.
21. Betting other people's money at a cake auction is FUN!
22. You can't always get what you want.
23. Despite what all my friends are doing, I am not getting married or having kids this year!
24. A movie about a love story never hurt anyone!
25. There is always room for improvement, but you have to be willing to get out of the comfort zone to get it!!!

Growing Up.....

You know for the last couple years I have considered myself an adult and have been able to make somewhat of adult like decisions.... No I don't have kids or am I married but I have a sucessful career and feel like I am good at it.... Well today came one of those adult decisions that made me realize that growing up isn't all that its cracked up to be but something that EVERYONE has to experience...... After working full time for over 5 years and trying to limp along with my own schooling, today I made the choice to start working only part-time and go to school full-time..... I had been trying to take classes online and feeling like I was only giving it half of what I could, it was just something that constantly was at the back of my mind....... So with that in mind, on June 25th I will finally start what I came here to finish-- which is my schooling, but going to EPCC to finish with my associates ( I should only have about 1 or 2 semesters) and then transfer to UTEP to finish my Bachelors in Elementary Education..... I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders by making this choice and finally going for what I have wanted to do for a while now... So may the force be with me!!! But its still no fun when making tough decisions, but its going to be so rewarding for me!!! yay for me! :)

SO I know this is late in posting but last Friday, March 5th was 11 years since my brother passed away.. So here is a little story my sister Kristin sent to us that happend on that day. Every year on his birthday everyone in my family releases balloons to Kenneth, and its just our way of letting him know we are thinking of him and love him, and really miss him!!!!

I got this message from a girl, Marcia, that I went to school with, she and I were in the same classes at Eastwood Heights, Knolls and then she dropped out our Junior Year of HS. I haven't talked to her in YEARS, probably since even before she dropped out. We are friends on facebook, and today she sent me this message, so I thought I would share with you! I never had an opportunity to express my condolescences to you and your family.

I would like to share something with you that perhaps you didn't know. I met your brother in highschool. Yes. Highschool. See, Kristin, I was dropped out of school in Spring 1993. I had my son in October of that year. I'll fast forward to 5 years later where I was granted special permission by Mrs. Matthews, YISD and the State of Texas (I was 22 at the time) to return to highschool to finish my senior year. While in school in the year of '98-'99, I had the priviledge of meeting your brother in the tutoring center. He was so welcoming, so smart and had a smile that only he could inhibit. I knew he was your brother and to be honest with you I was embarrassed to ask about you.

I remember that day very well. I was in Spanish class when Mrs. Matthew's voice came over the intercom and in a very broken and heartfelt tone informed us all of Kenneth's passing. I will never forget it.

I truly am sorry for that loss you and your family had to endure. And I too, will release a balloon in his honor.

Well its been FOREVER since I last updated my blog and for all you know I could be married and having a baby but we all know thats a LIE!!!!! I finished classes at school, and I have been teaching a TON at school and I even took a National Certification Test... went to Utah 2 times, am close to getting a new car (well maybe depending if I want to have a car payment again) and a whole bunch of other stuff..... We even had SNOW in El Paso... yes you read that correctly.... SHOCKER!!! :) I can't wait for Christmas to come because that means all my little kiddies will be here and I think they are the coolest kiddos around!!! and of course my brother and sisters to be here as well.. but the best part is going to be that I have a little more then 2 weeks off of work!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.... well I would upload some pictures but it won't let me...

I just found this interesting, but can't really say that I am that shocked.... As I opened my e-mail today the advertisment that popped up on the screen almost made me teary eyed.... It stated "The Book of Mormon is on the list of 20 books that has changed America." Some big shot book editor said that, and then there was a link to a page where you could request your free book... as I sat there looking at that advertisment I became really greatful for that gosh darn book... As I read the pages in it, I know that it is true, and I just have a simple testimony about it, I mean its nothing, but that I simply know that its true.. and I wish that everyone could see and know of the truths that I know and love so much....

Anyways in other new of my life... Lately I have felt like I am tired of being tired, and don't feel like I have time for much of anything..... I am having a blast at work, and really starting to get into a groove of things, now if I could just get the nights taken care of and not have to work, but I think that this might be my last night to do that... But things are good, Kimber is here with her kids and they are so funny, and I love them to death...Anyways-- thats all for now, I have to run and go make up a test for the night class!!!

Summer Vaca! and work work work!

I know that I haven't updated in a while..... I have been working and then driving to Utah for family vacation and then back up there for the 4th of July.. Its been a whirl wind couple of weeks, and now I was thrown a big curve ball today at work that now I will be teaching classes 8-1, 1-6, and 6-10, for now until we can find a new instructor! and hopefully that is soon because I can't forget one of the biggest reasons I moved home for was to go to school- and that starts in August, well we hope it does!!!
Also WELCOME BABY ELLA- to my sister Kimberley and Tyler-- she is so cute and I love her so much!!! and if you look real close you can see that Jack wanted Ella to "lick" him just like his mom!!!

My sister Jennise and her husband Weston were able to go and pick up their precious baby boy Caleb Weston.. He was born on Friday morning weighing in at 6lb 7oz~ 18.5 inches long. He is so perfect in everyway and I am sure that big sister Olivia can't wait to meet him!!

Well I know that I haven't posted in a while but things have been really busy and now I am finally getting around to it!!! But I will start from beginning-- Donald and I drove home on Friday night and decided that we would go suprise my dad at Father and Sons in Cloudcroft-- yes you may think-- well then why in the heck would you go, and let me tell you there is a reason that it is called Fathers and Sons and girls really shouldn't be allowed!!! Not that it was this bad thing, but really being there was just weird and thats all I am going to say!! and at that we didn't even manage to get a pie!!! So after that and we finally made it home we spent the day catching up on sleep and hanging out before Donald had to go back to Utah on Sunday. I started my job at Western Tech that Monday and I wasn't too nervous about it, and it has been GREAT ever since, I love teaching and for some reason I can't help but think that it just runs through my blood-- everyone around me keeps saying that they can tell that I am realted to my dad because of the things that I do and the way that I teach! ITs been that way ever since with school and I love it!!! Anyways thats an update for now.. Nothing else is new!! :)

My Birthday!!!

My birthday was last Friday and it was a great day.. I woke up and the West's were so nice to sing happy birthday to me, and then I opened presents. After that I got ready and made my way to Logan where I met up with Kimberley for lunch-- and then in the middle of that had an interview for a job which I GOT and now will be moving in 2 weeks to El Paso... So after that excitment I met up with my friend Delaney and went and got dinner and then just hung out at her house-- she is having a baby just about any day now Halle and I can't wait to see her, I am so sad that I won't be here to spoil her!!! On Saturday I went to the Sorenson's and we went to eat at Bonsai-- it was great and really good food, I am even a celebrity there because I have my picture and autograph on the wall-- because it was my birthday!!! On Sunday we all went to the Sorenson's for my birthday BBQ and Megan and Ally Mullen came, it was great fun!!!! It was my last big celebration before I leave to move home!! Anyways-- enjoy some pictures!! :)

When: I dont know, depends on when and where I get a job... But I feel at peace with my choice and know that Heavenly Father has helped me come to my decision. and just because its me, last night right after I got off the phone with my mom from telling her what I decided, the song CELEBRATION came on the radio... and to you that might not mean anything but for me, it was just a little way to show me that its a good thing what I am doing, and no matter what people think or feel, its my life and I don't have to please anybody else but me. I am really excited to start this new chapter, and yes its going to be hard, really hard, but thats ok, and I am ready for it.

Choices, Decisions and a trip to EL PASO!!

I just went home for a couple of days with my sisters to have a shower for my cousin Jennifer who is having a baby boy in June, and it was a blast, but I do have to say that the best part was being HOME, and with my family. We went to Cloudcroft and White Sands, yes there is such a place look at the pictures ( I will have to post the pictures later, I can't find my camera cord)!!! Then we just stayed home and had a blast letting all the kids play with the hose in the backyard, there was a trip to Jacksons, and we even watched Twilight... I never thought I would do that, and yeah sure not my cup of tea (so weird) but it was not that bad, ALTHOUGH I did fall asleep!!! Ooopppss!! :)

Anyways, now here is the hard part and I am going to need lots of your opinions here. While at home I was talking to my dad about work and school and he suggested that I look into moving back home and working and going to school at UTEP or even El Paso community, for a couple of reasons and those being:
1. I could live rent free
2. School is much cheaper there
3. I love El Paso
4. I could work less, and go to school more
5. Not that I don't love Utah, its just I don't know.

So there is my choice, I know that whatever I choose its going to be hard, but I find myself happiest when I am at home. I just can't imagine not living close to my sisters and seeing my nieces and nephews all the time, that probably would be the hardest for me. Its not about the friends, because I can make those wherever I go, I just don't know what to do. Part of me just tells me to do it because its only a couple of years and I can always move back when I am done with school. But then on the other hand, I think that moving away from my sisters and brother will be harder then I think, and for as much as they come to visit or I can come up here it still won't be enough. So what do you all think, please let me know!! :)

Stress.

As I sit here in class at this moment, we are doing presentations on stress.... Boy Howdy is this.........................fun.. Not only have I learned about what it can do to the body, my gosh I am doing everything wrong. I know that stress is a part of our daily lives but my gosh it sure isn't fun. Anyways, thats deep enough for me.

I am so excited because not only am I going home to El Paso next week, I get to miss school-- I haven't missed yet and yeah yeah I know I should but my gosh do I need it, actually its more that I need to miss work, but thats a different story.. Because stress has been on my mind lately, or should I say just since yesterday when I started my presentation, I was trying to think of ways that I vent--- can we say CAR dance and sing, and if you need a good cd-- can we say JOCK JAMS, yes the 90's cd... its great!!!You really need to dig it out of the drawer, I know you all have it.....

Anyways thats about it, its kind of random but whatever, thats my life!

10 Years today.....

I was just a little sister, who had really only known my brother being sick and going to see him at the hospital or just knowing that he was there, and not being able to go see him there. It was a Friday night and my mom took Donald and I out to dinner and a movie, we saw "The Other Sister." When we walked through the door that night the phone was ringing, and it was my dad saying that we needed to get up the hospital because Kenneth had phnemonia and it wasn't looking to good. When we got to the hospital and went into his room and sat and talked and waited. Then it came time for Donald and I to say goodbye because we would be going to the Houghtons for the night because we didn't know how long Kenneth would be like that. Not knowing that it would be the last time we said goodbye to him. Anyways, we left the hospital just as planned and were almost to the house when Hettie's phone rang to get back to the hospital because things had taken a turn for the worst. We missed him passing away by about 10 minutes and when we walked in the room it was really somber and quiet. It was a feeling that I will never forget but certainly can't describe. After that night, it was followed by a couple of days of confusion with my sisters all coming back in town and people coming over and even going with my parents to plan every detail of his funeral. That was an experience in and of itself with everyone that came to the funeral, and even the viewing. After that I remember going to Ruidoso, just our family to have a few days to relax and just be together. Sorry if this is so long but I don't think that I have ever written it down like this.

Thinking of him comes in waves, and it seems more recently I have thought of him more often. Weither its in my car and our song comes on the radio or Kristin and I sit around and talk about what it would be like if he was still alive. What would he be like, how would our family dynamic be. Its so wonderful to know what we know with the gospel but sometimes it doesn't make it any easier.

I really hate Jason... and thats all I am going to say... Melissa you are better off with out him....

So I am really bitter about this season of the Bachelor. For the whole season you think that Jason is this stand up guy who knows how to treat women and has just had his bad luck with them.. Well last night changed it all, and sure whatever you have feeling for Molly, BUT YOU SHOULD OF PICKED HER IN THE FIRST PLACE, and not humiliated Melissa on National TV, and no matter what he says, she had no idea that it was coming, and Molly on the other hand-- you could totally tell that they had already talked and she was not a good actress and knew what was going to happen, and she kept on trying to hide it but really didn't. Jason, you are a dirty rotten, and I am glad that Melissa stood her ground and called you what she did. The end!! :)

So part of the reason that I haven't blogged in a while is due to lack of exciting information in my life. I constantly go to work and school everyday and thats about it!!! But I do have to share a funny story about something that I over heard last night. I was walking down the aisle at the local Wally World and hear this lady absolutely yelling at someone, and being ME, I most definantly had to walk over to see what was going on. Now I don't know the whole story but this lady was yelling at the checker for not being friendly (which to each his own, seems a little overboard if you ask me) but anyways-- I found myself down the "As seen on TV" section trying to listen to what was going on, and all of a sudden this customer says "No you WASN'T nice". I mean I am no English scholar by any means but really?!?!?!? First of all, if she just didn't say "Hello, how are you" when you first walked in her line, give her a break, and second of all-- IF you are going to yell in the Wal Mart line-- please, please know how you speak correctly!!! Oh the joys of Happy Valley Utah!!!! So I thought that was pretty darn funny, well thats about it, school is great and only 5 more weeks and I will have my 1st semester done, right now I have A's in all my classes so thats a relief.
Anyways, sorry the only picture is of my want to be boyfriend Denny Hamlin.. I am telling you one day!!!

I know in my last post I said that I would post some pictures and here it is 2 weeks later and still no pictures..... Things are BUSY!!!! If I am not driving, I am at work, and if I am not at work I am at school and if I am not at school I am at home trying to sleep!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH, somedays I am more tired than others but things are getting better!!!! Right now I am sitting at the Sorenson's house watching Kennedy and Jack while Kimber and Tyler are out of town.. and honestly its been a nice break from homework and stuff, BUT I do have to study for my first test on Monday so I am so thankful for my brother who said he would come over here so that I can study for a few minutes. But other than that nothing new has been going on..... Work is crazy busy, even more so than what I was doing in Logan, and school well thats just different, especially if any of you know how much I ......loved....... BYU-ID, well thats putting it nicely!!! :)

And no I am not sugar coating everything right now, its been HARD and yes I have thought about if I made the right decision but hey, I know what I am doing is what I need to be doing and soo there you go... I am here and alive and happy.... Check back in a couple days and then we can really see how things are going after I have taken that Math Test and have seen my score on it!!!! But for now... Its been a wild ride here in good ol' El Paso for Christmas starting off last Friday with an 18 hour car ride that only should of taken 12.... AHHHH, stupid snow!!!! and my family has done a million and one things and its been great I am sad for Monday to come when Kimber and I have to pack her car up and drive back... Its been 50 here and just NICE!!! Anyways---- Santa came to my house and brought me a LAPTOP with a Printer/Scanner/Fax/Copier all in one... I am so LUCKY!!!! Anyways--- I really ate a piece of Humble pie when I went with my little cousins down to the Rescue Mission to make and feed about 160 people..We also made Sugar Cookies, went to Chicos Tacos, Had parties, went and saw Marley and ME ( GO SEE IT). Anyways-- as always enjoy the pictures!!! :)

Life is a changing as I know it......

Well my life is chaning as I know it and although I am SUPER happy about it, its a little scary for me... Its a welcome change that I brought on myself and as I find myself a week away from being out of Logan for good and starting school and work I find myself wondering... SHOULD I REALLY BE DOING THIS?!?!?!? My life was great here and although things may not of always been picture perfect I can't help love this place I learned to call home... So here is a list of things that have changed and or I have learned in about the past month:

1. Got my school schedule planned out.
2. I got a new job at Avenues Midwifery
3. Moved in with my wonderful friend Amber and her family.
4. Moved out of my apartment and have my life in 2 places now.
5. Have learned that its okay to change.
6. Driven through Sardine Canyon WAY to many times.
7. Got the 24 hour bug.
8. Been greateful to have family I can help and who can help me.
9. Not taken enough pictures
10. Given my notice to my AWESOME boss.
11. Trained my replacement.
12. Really thought about what is great about my life.
13. Said goodbye to some great friends.
14. Got a not so good haircut.. :)
15. Colored this not so good haircut.
16. Had a meltdown about this whole CHANGE..
17. Saw the happiness my neices and nephews bring me.
18. Learned my parents always have the best wisdom.
19. Went to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional.
20. Walked around Temple Square to see the lights.
21. Have been/ currently are living out of a suitcase.
22. LEARNED LIFE ALWAYS ISN'T WHAT I WANT OR THINK IT
SHOULD BE BUT ITS PRETTY DARN GOOD!!!!!

I don't know there are some a few of the things that I can think off the top of my head.. Yes I have cried and know that next week will I probably be a bigger emotional reck than I have ever been or would ever want to be.. I am going to miss this place and the wonderful people who I can friends and family. And although its only an hour North I still won't be here everyday. So now before I start to get teary eyed again I am going to end this post... (and for my sister who don't like to read such long post)..... Oh gosh I don't even know what else to say!!! :)

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone... and to my suprise... I have come away with little or few pictures... So I now refer you to my sister Kristins blog for pictures and detail of what went on with Brown Family Thanksgiving Extravaganza... We went shopping... ate lots of food... didn't get much sleep.. and had a whole lot of fun... Even the El Paso Santa made his/her way up here for the West and Whites...Oh and the week before we went to Kimberley's friend Amy and Mikes Wedding Reception... She looked so happy so there are some pictures of that in there too!!! :)

On Sunday we celebrated Thanksgiving with Kimberley and her kids and then my brother Donalds birthday. So I went down on Saturday and Kimber and I got everything ready. We got out all her China and Crystal glasses and then her silver... It was great and we set the table and made the Turkey, Corn, and Pies.. It was great.. After dinner it turned into a Wii Bowl-a-thon, then Baseball, then some golf. Anyways-- enjoy the pictures!! :)

Well its been a crazy couple of days and its going to be a crazy couple of WEEKS!!! This past weekend I went down to Salt Lake and was able to watch Kennedy and Jack overnight so that Kimber could go to her friend Amy's bridalshower. I had a good time with them even though they went to bed real early so it was only like 20 minutes that I saw them!!! Then Saturday Donald and I met up with Brad and Katie Kuykendall and went to the BYU vs. SDSU game and the Cougs won 41-12.. The last minute or so of the game I started cheering for the other team just so that they would score (they were not going to win anyways) and if looks could kill I would be a couple of feet under ground!!! It was great and we laughed about it...

Now for these days I am just packing and packing... and MORE packing... I am moving out of my apartment next Friday so I don't have to pay another months rent and with Thanksgiving coming AND the U of U vs. BYU game we decided to move on the 21st... Hopefully I will have everything in boxes so that all we have to do is put it all in the U-Haul and away we go!!! Its crazy and I would be telling a story if I said that I wasn't almost going crazy because I really have nothing set up down in Salt Lake. I am still waiting to hear about a job and where to live, the only thing so far that I know is which classes I am taking and when school starts!!! AHHHH, I could go crazy in the next couple of days!!! Anyone have some ideas or girlfriends I could live with!!! :)

Last night Kristin, Zach and I went to the Mountain Crest vs. Sky View football game... Yes on a WEDNESDAY night-- weird but it was fun none the less!!! MC won in overtime 41-38... It was a great game and we even got out of there before all the traffic!!! Yipee!!! :) Anyways-- they spent the night at my house last night and we ALL slept like rocks-- Zachy didn't even wake up till a little after 8 which according to his mom is GREAT!!!! Too bad I had to come to work, but thanks for coming guys, I always love having you!! :)
When I was getting ready this morning Zach came into the bathroom and I gave him a band-aid to play with.. and it ended up on his forehead!!! He is so cute!!!

Well its offically in--- all of my information to LDS BC.. so now we wait and hear back from them!!!
So, Jennise and Weston are in Mexico for a little R&R and so my mom was able to come up here to watch Olivia this week. and I was luck enough to have them and Kristin come up to Logan on Saturday and Sunday to spend a few days with me!!! We went shopping and just hung out and even got a little babysitting in when Heather came by with Baby Lizzie and we sent her off to Wal Mart by herself to just have a few minutes alone. Then on MOnday we met up with Kimberley and her kids to go to Sams. We had good intensions of getting more done but when kids miss their naps and its getting close to lunch time sometimes its just better to feed them and head home, and so thats what everyone did, even myself who just decieded to head back up here and relax at home.. But I love my mom so much, she is so sweet- she took me to Sams Club and bought me a whole bunch of grocerys and things that I need or just didn't even think I needed, she even has gone to the store since and bought me more things-- I don't know what I would do without her!! Love you MOM!!

Once again, I have no pictures nor new stories to share about my exciting life... that I don't lead!!! I have sent in my application for school and so now its just a matter of waiting to hear back!!! Keep your fingers crossed!! :) On Sunday we went to the West's house to celebrate Kenneth (my older brother who passed away in 1999) 28th Birthday-- we had fajitas and fruit and his favorite browines made by Kimberley.. After dinner we let ballons go, and there were a few tears and laughs!! Just a side note- we let ballons go every Sept 21 his birthday and March 5th- the day he died, just to remember him and let him know we are thinking of him! Overall it was a great day!!!

Well Hello blogging world, I am still alive and doing GREAT... Not too much has happend, since oh last week when I blogged real quick.. I am looking into going to LDS BC, to get my basics and then hopefully transfer to a University for the last 2 years.... I am really thinking about going into teaching... I love what I do now, but I just don't think that it is what I am supposed to do the rest of my life... I mean you would think that atleast one of us kids would follow in my parents footsteps and be a teacher!!! It will be great, I probably will have to move to Salt Lake so if anybody knows someone who has a great place to live there, LET ME KNOW!!! Anyways, thats about it for now!! Today I am at a thinking point in my life-- where I am trying to figure out if what I am doing is really what I am supposed to doing in my life or if its time to further my education and go back to school... I love my job and the people I work with but with just coming back from El Paso I really have been think if this is really where I should be in my life.... Maybe this was just a great jumping off position for me and now its time to venture to something else... OR maybe this is really what I am supposed to be doing my whole life.... Ahhhh, I don't even know if this is making sense I am just rambling-- but anyone have some advice?? Do I continue to work my heart out and stay here where I am comfortable but NOT incredibly happy or try going back to school or a new path but something that will make me feel at home?!?!?!?!

Well Delaney and I are coming to a close of our trip, and I have to say I am WAY sad to go...... Where else can we get fresh flour tortillas, swim in a bucket of queso and listen to some sweet music other than the Taco Cabana.... or basically be in Mexico without even crossing the border and be able to buy everything at our leisure.... where else can we drive out to my moms school to give Mr Ammato is double nickel, or put together teacher kits..where else is there a Cattlemans Steakhouse....where else can you go to Cielo Vista Mall for tax free weekend and meet Latoya at the Layne Bryant...Wal Mart-- enough said... where else can you drive for over an hour and be almost in Mexico,in New Mexico, and Texas and never stop laughing.... where else can we get a Fushia Kiss and Pedicure of Tina, or a kiss on the lips from Nana?? Where ELSE can we eat my dads taco, go to church with Sister Billings, go to Tommy's reception and SET up 10 minutes before it starts, eat 3 FULL meals of tacos in one day.... None other than the great, amazing El Paso, TEXAS....

Well this weekend was GREAT!!! It started on Friday after my meetings in Salt Lake when I went with Jennise and Olivia to the pool.... I didn't get as MUCH sun as I would of liked but it was still fun!!!! Krisin and Zachy boy met us there!!!! Then on Saturday we had Zach's first birthday party!!! It was a blast-- and all my sisters and brother came with KiKi, Libia, Jack and Zach!!! We played in the bounce house... and they played in the kiddie pools... Then I left and drove back up to Logan to go to the Demolition Derby with Laney... Rod and Bart where in it... and McKenna and I were in the dance contest!!! We didn't win but came close to it!!!!! McKenna's sprinkler move just didn't wow the judges that much!!! Hahaha.... Anyways-- it was great... Yesterday it was church and a little bit of the 24 hour bug ( I wasn't feeling so hott).... I don't have any picture my camera needs new batteries... SORRY!!!!

So let me just tell you that Kenny Rogers... STILL has it going on, and pretty much rocks!!!!! I would go see him again and again!!!

Here is just the run down of the weekend:
FRIDAY we left for Salt Lake and went to the Hilton, where we stayed for the night... ( I am still convinced that Paris was somewhere in the hotel!!!) We went and saw Kim at her house... then went shopping and got our SWEET outfits that we were sure that Kenny would notice us!!!! After that we went to dinner at the Macaroni Grill, and desert at the Cheesecake Factory.... We did make an apperance at the pool and tried to get Susan in but she was too fast!!! After that it was in bed and good night!

SATURDAY it was back to the mall for some shopping and lunch then out to the Whites to change into our outfits before the BIG show.... Thanks Weston and Olivia for letting us come in on your day to change!!! It didn't take us long to drive there and so on the way we had many a talks and took some quizes from the Cosmo mag!!! It was great.... Once we got there it was on to gamble before dinner and KENNY!
6:00pm-- Dinner at the Rainbow Casino Buffet!
7:15pm-- Get to the Peppermill Concert Hall-- counting down the minutes till he comes on stage!!
7:55pm-- A very drunk man and his wife sit next to us-- and he asked us where we are from.... we tell him Logan and he continues through out the show to yell at us that we were from DELTA.... he was pretty hilarious!!!
8:00pm-- The big moment arrives and we sing our little hearts out!!!!! and closes the night with our best song we know!!! Island in the Stream!

It was such a good concert, and we were sad to see it end....
As we are getting back on the freeway to head home... Laney says lets stay another night... so after talking for a few minutes we agree and drive around to see which is the best deal... so we stayed at the RED GARTER for the night.... Hey maybe not the Hilton but perfect for what we needed!!! After gambling till about 1:00am-- ( I lost $10, and Trina and Laney both won about $80) we went back to the room and Susan got a burst of energy and was running and trying to hit the sprinkler on the ceiling...then was throwing ice at us and trying to hit the lamp shade!!! It was a great night FULL of laughs!!! DELLLTA!
Sunday it was get up and drive home... I think I speak for all of us when I say I was sad to see the weekend come to an end!!! BUT we did make a pack to do it every couple of months!!!! Thanks girls!!! Love ya!

Family Reunion/Vacation/Get together

Well I just returned from my family vaction in Durango, CO.. It was a blast and we ALL had such a great time... here is how it went down...

Wednesday- Kristin, Brandon, Zach and I wanted to suprise my parents and everyone else and go down there first.... and so that was great we left about 9 or so in the morning and started what is supposed to be the 6 or 7 hour drive down... Well after 5 stop of road construction.... getting gas.... some more road construction, an accident that closed both sides of the highway... we finally made it 9 hours later.... Needless to say we were VERY happy to get there!!!! So we got the trailor set up and about that time, My parents, brother and Kennedy showed up.... so we helped them set up their trailor and just hung out!!!

Thursday- Both my sisters families showed up and we had yummy breakfast and then took the kids swimming, and just hung out, especially because we told ourselves there were going to be NO trips into the Wal-Mart!!!

Friday- ALL the boys went fishing, so that left us girls and the kids back at the camp... we played and got dirty and swam, went for walks.... Then that night we ALL went to the Bar D for dinner and to watch the Bar D wranglers... They did some new songs and it was hilarious.... Jack probably enjoyed it the most!!!!

Saturday- It was time for girls day out.. And let me tell you it was an adventure.... Who would of thought that 5 ladies dressed in the same shirt would of caused such a riot on the streets of Durango... We let me tell you, we got every comment from "Oh did they have a sale on those shirts", to " Do you guys sing and dance?", to "Oh look triplets" (keep in mind that there were 5 of us"... Anyways-- we went to the Farmers Market, went into some fun shops and then had lunch at Tequilas.... After that we went back to the camp and it was boys against girls in Jungle Ball at the pool.... Needless to say the boys won, but I do have to say that we did give up a good fight.... We did try everything though from putting the shoe in our swimsuits to trying to cheat... but nothing worked... those boys are just to strong!!! but we will get you NEXT time boys!!! You are going down!!!

Sunday- It was pack up, get some free pancakes at the cafe... and say goodbye to my parents, and drive home... this time it only took us 6 hours and it was great... on the way home we did pass by some polygamist houses... it was creapy!!!! but I really wanted to see some of them!!!

Anyways- I love my family... I can't see to get enough of them and I had a great time!! And to let everyone know... we still are famous and the picture is still in the Mild to Wild Brochure of us rafting!!! Woohooo!!!

Busy Busy Weekend!

Well my weekend kicked off when I drove down to Lehi to go to Mindi's Spa party!!! It was fun to talk with her and my 2nd Mom!!!! Thanks guys!!!

On Saturday I went with the Sorenson's and Donald to Jordanelle to go boating... It was a blast and I got some real good SUN!!!

After going home to shower and relax Kimber, Kenney and I headed to the Bee's game to see the CHICKEN!!! He was hilarious and it was sooo much fun!!!

Then at about 1:30AM or so I got a call from my mom but missed her call... so she called the house... and to our suprise.... MY PARENTS WERE IN TOWN!!!! Woohoooo!!! So we talked for a few minutes and then got to bed very very late....
Sunday we got up to go to church and my mom,Kennedy and I decieded to go listen to Jennise give her lesson... after a mishab with a very nice picture that I got my dad for Fathers Day (it fell off my roof and is not nowhere to be found... there goes $50 down the drain...) We made it back to the Sorenson's church in time to take the sacrament and then watch Kennedy do her part in Primary.... After that it was home for naps, relaxing and dinner and a drive back up to Logan!!!!

Well I got to hang out with my 2nd Family this weekend, and it started off Saturday MOrning going to watch Trina run in from her marathon in Bear Lake..... The first picture is on the way there... and the 2nd is on the way home!

So last night I decieded that I needed to clean out some things in my room and so I started with under my bed..... Since I moved in to my house now I just threw boxes under my bed and left them... So last night I went through it and am getting rid of probably 95% of what was under there... I also had some plastic tubs on the side of my bed that I just went through last night too.... Anyways, apparently I like hats or atleast found some that I had and took some pictures!!! Haha, yes I know I am a dork... and then there are some other pictures of what I am getting rid of and how the side of my bed looks now!!! It feels so good to clean... its the closet and drawers tonight!!

Well I went to the pool on Saturday with some great friends and got well burned!!!! I tried to take some pictures of myself but they didn't really turn out great and do my work justice but here ya go... and here is what I used to put on when I was burning up.... It didn't really work all that great but oh well!!! I really wanted to be burned and thats what I got!!! Woohoo!!! Hello tan in a couple of days!!!

I had a great weekend--- and for once in 4 weeks I didn't even go down to SLC at ALL!!! Woohoo for me!!! Instead I went with my adoptive family and hung out with them all weekend!!! We didn't do much but it was nice to just relax and hang out! Thanks guys!!!

Anyways-- the only pictures that I have are of their brother getting his teeth kicked in by a mule... So here ya go... They are pretty cool looking if you ask me!!!

Gary Warner has retired and I am so VERY sad about that... I must say that I did get a little teary eyed when I watched the final newscast from my computer..... What a guy!!!!

St. George....

This weekend I had the chance of going with Kristin and Zach down to St. George for some cousins wedding... We had a blast--- we stayed at the Hampton Inn and were able to go see the temple, lay out by the pool, drive around town, eat at the In and Out Burger, and EVEN get a Little Ceasars $5 pizza (which by the way in St. George was $5.99) Anyways-- I had a blast and would love to go back there again!!!!!

Coke ZERO--- and think its pretty much the greatest thing made since I don't know what (along with Dr. Pepper).... Its just too bad the hospital Cafe doesn't carry the darn thing!!! That would make my life alot happier!!! Oh the simple things in life that make me happy...

Anyways--- I am in a little bit of a panic tonight... I can't seem to find the bottoms to my swimsuit because I am leaving tomorrow to go to St. George... and from what I hear the weather is pretty much WONDERFUL.... Well wish me luck that I find it... if not looks like someone here is gettin a new swimsuit!!! Woohoo!!!!

Well on Friday after I left work I went down to SLC-- and met the Sorenson's at the Bee's game!!! It was actually really fun and a great night for a game!

Then on Saturday Kimberley and I walked in Race for the Cure... It was a really emotional thing,, and record breaking at that..... 17,000 people..... We ran on team Rumbi as we liked to call ourselves!!! Thanks for going with me Kimber I had a blast!!!

Saturday night we went to Rocky Mountain Raceway and watched the races (figure 8, trains, and speedsters) it was a great time and we had a blast... Sorry No pictures!!!

Well I went down to SLC this weekend for my birthday--- and it was very sucessful to say the least!!!! It started off Friday when I went to a wedding reception for a friend and then went to Julia and Prestons house to hang out... We played some game on Wii and it was really fun-- I might have to ask for one of those for Christmas!!! Then on Saturday Kimberley took me to get a pedicure and then she and Kennedy and I went shopping and to a place called "Nothing Bundt Cakes" it was really good!!! Then Saturday night I went to Jennise's house and Kristin, Jennise and I went to see "Maid of Honor" and it was such a cute movie... Very much so a Chick Flick but so dang cute!!! and then yesterday we had a Kentucky Derby Style BBQ at the Whites... It was so fun and all the kids were hilarious, and my sweet sisters even had more presents for me to open!!! They always do toooooooo much for me!!! Anyways--- Thanks to the Sorensons, Wests and Whites for making the weekend so fun!!! I love you guys soo much!!!!!
