Back to the Old Grind.......

Well its back to the Old Grind for me.... Its actually really bitter sweet--- because El Paso is HOME and I love every minute of it and wish that I could move back because I would in a heart beat... It was really nice to be there with Jennise and Olivia we had a good time, and was really sad when we had to leave on Monday-- and yes we drove the whole way back on Monday and suprisingly only got pulled over once--- or should I say Jennise got pulled over!!! hahaha-- anyways it was great to be there and I miss it oh so much!!! But someone has to work and earn the money here so that would be ME.... Work work work--- thats about all I do these days!

I am also very VERY excited that The Hills is starting up again (March 24th for all you fans).... I can't wait.. Hooray!!!

Little Big Town and Styx

Well today Western Technical College had a really cool Fun day I guess you could say-- out on Biggs Army Air Field for the soliders who been to war or those that are getting ready to go... They had all the free food and beer you could ask for (I really went for the beer) Haha, but anyways they said to expect about 9,000 people there and I don't think that there where that many but there sure were alot, and if it wasn't practically nessesary for people in the Military to smoke and drink I might of tried to get a few numbers BUT I decided not too-- darn it... Anyways it was really fun and at the end of the night they had a concert for everyone and Little Big Town and Styx performed... They were both great and would totally go again!!!

Well I have made it!

Well I have made it to El Paso in one piece!!! My sister Jennise and I left her house at about 5:45 ish and we drove till 3:00 am in Los Lunas and spent the night there and got up yesterday morning and finised the last 3 hours of the job!!! Yipee-- Olivia was such an angel she slept and ate and didn't cry one bit!!! Anyways today we are just going to relax and hang out--- I have a nasty cold and Jennise has sort of one!!! Have a fantastic day!!! :)

My Favorite Things

So Mindi tagged me.... here is how it got started...

Tanya Purcell came up with a great idea. Here is her idea:Whenever Oprah does her ‘Favorite Things’ show, I am always curious about the things she chooses and why. The best part of her ‘Favorite Things’ show is that she shares them with others! Well, the other day I thought to myself, “I don’t have to be Oprah to have ‘Favorite Things’. I started to think about the day to day things that I have or use that bring me some form of enjoyment. I thought it would be interesting to find out the ‘Favorite Things’ of my friends and family too. So here it goes…If money were not an issue and you wanted to load up a basket of your most ‘Favorite Things’ and give it to your friends, what would you choose and why? During your day to day life, are there things that you use each day that make you smile or feel good? Is there something that you look forward to everyday? It can be something simple, like the type of pen you use or something big like the type of car you drive. I will list my ‘Things’ and then I will tag a few of you to do the same thing. here they are in no particular order...

My Got2 B Hair glue---- It keeps my hair just right and it doesn't move ALL day long!!! Just a little spray here and a little spray there!! I even got my mom and some of my sisters hooked on it!

My Polaroid a801 Camera... It takes great pictures and I try to take a few every once and a while so people know what I am up too!!!

My Crock-Pot---- I now can my really yummy soups and with it being really cold outside its perfect... My favorite is Cheesy Potato!!!! Sounds good now!

My 2005 Ford Escape... I love it!!! Its great in the snow, gets good gas milage for my many trips to SLC, and can fit a whole bunch of STUFF..... My far one of my best purchases!!!!!

Busy Busy..

Well besides the fact of working everyday, this week and weekend is going to be very busy!!! But I guess I shouldn't complain too much about it.... This weekend I leave to go to Midway with my sisters, aunts and Grandma for a girls weekend, then I will come back for a little get together at the Normans to celebrate Shelly being lukemia free for a year and then work Monday and then leave Monday night to drive with Jennise and Olivia to El Paso.... Yay for road trips!!! It will be fun so wish me luck!! But this is how I am looking at it!!!

El Paso for a week in 70 degree weather out of the snow, AND no work... Its a win win situation any way you look at it and I can't complain about driving!!!! Yipeeeeee!

New Found Love.......

Well this weekend I was down in SLC at my sisters house and went to a Jazz game and found a new love for one of the players!!! #26 Kyle Korver.... He is real handsome.... I think I might pay attention to the games more offten!!! And also #11 Denny Hamlin in Nascar..... I don't like that sport or to watch it but he was real cute!!!

Growing up...

Well I have finally decieded that I was going to grow up and get a entertainment/dresser for my room because the one that I have now is just not cutting it.... This is at K-mart for $69.00, and I love it... I will probably go see if they have it in stock tonight or tomorrow and go from there!!!!

So Sweet....

For Valentines Day my Dad got my Mom this awesome present... And couldn't hold on to it any longer and gave it to her last night.... Its an age progression of what Kenneth would look like now if he was still alive..... Looking at it now it makes me cry because thats truly what he would look like... Anyways--- here he is... love you Kenneth!

Well there is nothing new to report on this end.... I have no new pictures-- I forgot my camera at my sisters house and haven't been back down to pick it up.... I think I passed those blasted Kidney Stones so thats good.... And I taught Relief Society yesterday.... Anyways-- thanks for all the prayers on my behalf!!!! I really appreciate it.... A little bit scary last night....

Well last night it was a little scary for me because I went to the Instacare with pain in my lower right abs--- so they did blood test and X-rays and then sent me over to the Hospital through the ER for a CT scan.. All signs pointed towards Appendicitis-- and needless to say I was a little worried.... After I had the scan I waited and the Dr called me back to let me know that after the CT scan they had found nothing and she would give me some pain medicine to dull the pain and hopefully it would be something that would go away on its own.... So I went home and a few minutes later the Dr called me at home to let me know the radiologist read the scan wrong and I have KIDNEY STONES--- so to go back to the Instacare and she would give me some more medicine and hopefully I would pass them ALL... Yeah so anyways I am alive--- but just kind of in alot of pain--- HOpefully this medicine kicks in soon! :)So much for the SuperBowl-- I think I made it to the point of Jordan Sparks seeing the National Anthem that was about it!

Wow is all I have to say....

Ok so my sister Kristin has just sent me this picture of my family back in 1998... and Boy is it a beauty!!!! I can't believe that I used to think I was hott!!!! And to the naked eye you might think I just have lipstick on my teeth but let me assure you that it is indeed not and that I am really just missing a tooth.... and not even a baby one at that.... They only thing good I can say about it is that I love it because it was probably our last family picture with Kenneth here and so I do love it because of that!!!! COme on leave the comments I want to hear em'!!!!
